Giovanni Baj opens his first workshop-workshop as a skilled stonemason in the current headquarters of Gavirate offices.
In the 1970s the laboratory expanded and the production site was moved to the industrial area of Gavirate with the construction of a first warehouse of about 400 square meters.
Pierguido Baj takes over from his father in the company and, combining his architectural skills with his entrepreneurial skills, experiments with a new way of conceiving marble processing.
Thus he began to collaborate with nationally and internationally renowned architects, creating high-level projects.
In 1983 the production site was expanded with the construction of a second warehouse connected to the previous one for another 500 square meters and with the organization of an outdoor slabs and blocks warehouse of over 5,000 square meters.
Since 2005 Carlo Righini Baj, third generation, has given further impetus to the business through the acquisition and development of new production sites and the installation of cutting-edge machinery.
The processing of lightened marble and ceramic materials begins, maintaining the highest levels of quality.
It focuses on the training of specialized personnel for installation, thus creating teams of professionals capable of enhancing the last phase of the production process.
